The Sophie Silver Crown is a beautiful and classical piece from Jess Collett Milliner, made from individually hand-cut pieces of embellished silver leather and bound together carefully to create a burst of rich and elegant leaves. The crown is attached to a wire headband which makes it effortlessly easy to wear and very versatile. The bespoke Silver Crown has been worn both as an alternative bridal headpiece and as a party showstopper. It suits all ages and most outfits which is why it is our most popular piece. 

Hiring Info

Each occasion hat is a unique handmade piece of art that takes a long time to create. Please treat your hat with the utmost care when renting and return it in the same condition as you received it. 

Credit card details are retained In case of loss, damage or late return of the hat. Rain damage or late return will generate a standard charge of £50. In case of the hat is lost or damaged beyond repair we will charge the card the full cost.

During Ascot week depending on demand the hiring may be 24hours.

When Hiring we will be in contact to take card details and address details registered to the card details. We will not release the hat until we receive these details.

Card details that are taken will not be used without notifying you first. Your details will be destroyed upon safe return.

Returning the hat

 If you are returning the hat by post then please ensure that you send it back in a secure, sturdy box and make sure it is recorded delivery.  The cost of postage both ways is additional to the price of the £250 hire cost.

The Lazaro is a modern take on the classic Stetson with a JCM twist. Inspired by my recent travels to Houston and the Houston Rodeo, coupled with the launch of Beyonce’s amazing foray into country music, it's a comfortable playful shape with a hint of YEEHAW - perfect for everyday wear. 

It's name came from an encounter we had during a stressful trip we made from Houston to Miami. You can read the full story here, but Lazaro was truly our guardian angel and I couldn't wait to return to the studio to name a hat after him!

Much like a classic Trilby, it's a universal shape that suits everybody. The felt has been stiffened so it has a hard feel to it, but this makes it a hard-wearing trusty friend that will protect you from the elements as you stroll around town. As we all know a good hat can take you places!

The Crawford hat has a vintage feel, The jaunty style and veiling take me back to a ‘Golden Age’ where hats were an everyday accessory. Today, I would style the Crawford with a long swinging coat or long dress with a nipped in waist and a shearling scarf……oh and a pair of Lisa Redman gloves of course!
